CLUB HISTORY: (wiki)

The International Berlin 1980 eV FC is a football club in Berlin-Schöneberg.
The club was founded in 1980 in response to the increasing commercialization found in Berlin football. Football - also performance-based - should be played with passion and fun not for money. Although to date no run-on or spot premiums are paid, the club plays its first Men's team in the Berlin district league. With 30 youth teams, the association has become the largest youth department in the district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg . Matches largely take place on the sports ground at the Schöneberg Monumentenstraße.

It is unusual that the Association waived shirt sponsorship. Instead of an advertising message, shirts of both adults and young people are adorned with the slogan "NO RACISM" across the chest. The club wants to send a clear message against racism and right-wing radicalism. In addition, the association is cooperating in the program "School and Sports", with eight schools.

Among the 900 members (including over 600 children and young people) there are people from more than 38 nations. The roots of many children and young people considered they would even be around 50 different nations.
